The officer would rather be able to see who is armed than having to guess who is.People with honest intentions have no need to hide anything. Why be afraid of someone who isn't trying to hide anything. On the other hand most criminals try to conceal their weapon and hide their intentions people just can't seem to get that through their heads. I still feel the gun owner made a mistake by having the pistol in his hand when getting out of the car. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals. If you conceal, and you are not holstered when exiting vehicle, must not hold said gun in hand. Must holster only after feet touch ground.
