door speakers turned off at high volume wont turn back on but subs work

just installed 2 pairs of rockford door speakers in the front and back and once i got done i turned the volume up to a few clicks from max and they turned off and wont turn back on, but my subs still work, what do i do

can you smell burnt amp?

is the 4 on a separate fuse? or internal fused?

never understood why people go past Max... this is what happens.

ohm.load could be to high, amp went into pro. some amps need to be reset. take power wire out for a while and try again. check all fuses, check amp for damage

no burnt amp, never went past max, no amp for the door speakers just a headunit, and the speakers turnedon for 3 seconds last timei turned my caro n but then they turned off again i dont know what the problem is

ok i got a update when i turn the car on and lower the volume very low the speakers will turn on and work but once i get to half way (which isnt even loud) they turn off and i have to restart the stereo and turn them down for the speakers to work again

wouldnt the speakers not turn on at all iif the fuse popped?

The fuse could have a small connection still, not fully blown.

ill check it tomorrow but i dont recall doing anything in that area to even shake it lose or whatever, is there anything else i should check?

could be a short in speaker wire... also one of the leads could be hitting the door
