blanestudly Posted February 2, 2015 Report Posted February 2, 2015 Lets all not forget to take our time with our headunits and speaker applications. I was in a hurry to put in my lovely PG Elites in my doors and i clipped the speaker wires and must not have covered one of them. Protect mode is on and now i have to either go in the back of the headunit to test or take off all of my doors. One quick question tho. anyone have a good idea in running wires through doors and keeping them hidden. that wire boot inbetween doesnt let me feed wire through it, not enough room. Your friendly reminder of the day xD

rockFord_Expedition Posted February 2, 2015 Report Posted February 2, 2015 There are tools that make running speaker wires through those boots easy. There are wire pullers that are purpose built, but a sink unclogger works good too. Old School/New School RF Build March 2015 SOTM Winner How to crimp large wire

blanestudly Posted February 2, 2015 Author Report Posted February 2, 2015 See my thought would be, connect it to the original wires, but grab it right on the other side and run your wire, would that short distance effect quality?

MrSkippyJ Posted February 3, 2015 Report Posted February 3, 2015 Luckily, no power windows or locks meant very few of the pin spots were actually being used on mine.
