Tinned copper butt connectors for 8 gauge. Wired up and ready to be dropped in Close quarters between the top of the enclosure and the roof of the explorer, i got lucky lol Cut part of the plastic and even then, the box is still wedged in between the wheel wells perfectly lol And she's in And i believe this brings us to current day. Haven't made any videos of the 18s primarily because I only had 800 watts on her and wasn't much of anything to be alarmed about haha. Ended up pulling the box for the winter since she's a heavy bitch and fuel economy would be nice atleast for the winter haha. Spring time she will be back in business and hopefully on a bit more power. What do ya'll think? I'm not sure even now what I want to do finish wise in the box, clear coat, fill in the screw holes and paint or bedline, carpet, carbon fiber, no clue haha. Flushed in ports made sense and I'll eventually make a flush mount for the subs too, maybe. Id like to keep the ports removable so I can get the subs out easier by pushing them upward. But bondo for all the edges and such and bedliner or paint would look awesome. I bedlined the 10s box and it came out great, always an option again!! Hopefully once I have proper power on them, the design will really shine. Also hoping that I don't have any flex issues but I have the 3/4" all thread to remedy that problem.
