Pulling wires into doors

Recommended Posts

I have a 08 Mazda 3. I just got my amp for my door speakers. I am using Alpine SPR-60Cs. My amp is a 4 x 75w amp. I have my wire to run into my doors. Got the rear doors run.

I have asked a couple of shops and could pay to do it but both told me that with the power I am running I am not going to notice any difference and the wire in my door is adequate. I would rather not take the easy road. The door wire is pretty thin. About 18 to 22 gauge.

I'm working on the front doors. Got the molex door plugs drilled. Now I'm just having trouble pulling the wire through the kick panel area. I have the plug out from the door no problem but I can't get the wire up.

I tried pushing a coat hanger down from the top and up from the bottom to pull the wire through but no luck. Any other ways that people use to pull wires?

If you're running them through the same location as the stock, just tape the new wire to the stock wire, cut the stock and fish it through using the stock wire.

I hate long signatures....
