12v dc fans- want one each on the boards (nice ones, and slim please)

i want to cut into my amp back plate, and mount them.... so slim width wise..

I've seen some used out of old computers. They range from 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick.

I've got about a half dozen 2.5" stinger fans at home. I can get pics when I get off work and get home tonight. If they'll work for you I'll send em your way.

If you want nice fans, Noctua is your best bet.

The tan and brown color is ugly but besides that its the number 1 fan used in the computer modding world in terms of airflow and being known to be quiet.

They also have some black fans with brown corners that are labled their industrial fans, a little bit louder iirc.

Be warned their fans are expensive.

Also a lot of fans are labled SP and AF nowadays, SP for static pressure (if you where drying to move air through a radiator) and AF for air flow (if you where trying to move a lot of air through an opject).

Corsair also has some decent fans and a more friendlier budget and thats what I use in my computer case, they also come with swappable color rings that can be painted as well (stock colors are red, white, and blue).

Home now, on the comp.

Personally I dig the corsair fans. Pretty affordable and they work well. Noctua are damn amazing but pricey.

If you want to put them in the backplate I would get some with better static pressure
