ROLEXrifleman
with all the sights I've installed over the years this was the first experience I had with Dawson and was very impressed. Well packaged and unlike the others out there comes with basic tools needed to help with the install. Doing the rear. you can see all the tools needed in the pic. the discoloration is from the slide being degreased. It will go back to normal when oiled up. Front b4 and after and the sight picture. Front sight, front sight, front sight! Rolex you sicken me. Just let me finish my pie ~ Juice
n8ball2013
Much better right? On close stuff you can pretty much use the dot like a red dot. See dot pull trigger. I know you won't be using that for hoser stuff though THERE IS NO BUILD LOG! 1998 Chevy Silverado ext cab Alpine CDA-9887 4 Team Fi 15s 2 Ampere Audio TFE 8.0 2 Ampere Audio 150.4 3 Digital Designs CS6.5 component sets Dual Mechman 370XP Elite alternators inbound! 8 XS Power d3400 6 XS power d680 Second Skin Stinger Tsunami Wiring Sky High A Real Voltmeter not a piece of shit stinger. n8ball2013
Its a glock 24. Long slide 40 s&w. The biggest thing about the front sight is that it's much smaller than a stock glock sight. At outside of ten yards the stock tends to eat up your entire sigh picture. If you're trying to be precise you're hosed. I've got Dawson's on my gamer glock 34 as well and they make a huge difference THERE IS NO BUILD LOG! 1998 Chevy Silverado ext cab Alpine CDA-9887 4 Team Fi 15s 2 Ampere Audio TFE 8.0 2 Ampere Audio 150.4 3 Digital Designs CS6.5 component sets Dual Mechman 370XP Elite alternators inbound! 8 XS Power d3400 6 XS power d680 Second Skin Stinger Tsunami Wiring Sky High A Real Voltmeter not a piece of shit stinger. ROLEXrifleman
update as one of the armorers for my agency I get a fair amount of time out on the range and get to handle a lot of different products. Which is why when I find something I like I gotta report on it. I shot the g24 today without having adjusted the rear sights after install and can say that I was hitting steel at 50 yards with little effort. Nothing replaces sound fundamentals but there are a few things that can help and these sights are it. My only regret is not having tried then sooner.as n8 said earlier, one of the best single investments you can make to your gun if your serious about shooting and want results now! ROLEXrifleman
for reference this is what we were shooting today . From left to right 3", 9", 12" and that guy is 10yards away. n8ball2013
The only thing is it spoils you for other sights and the fiber optic front isn't nearly as conducive to police work or self defense imo. I hate going back to stock sights now because I've truly been spoiled by the Dawson's kn the one I shoot the most THERE IS NO BUILD LOG! 1998 Chevy Silverado ext cab Alpine CDA-9887 4 Team Fi 15s 2 Ampere Audio TFE 8.0 2 Ampere Audio 150.4 3 Digital Designs CS6.5 component sets Dual Mechman 370XP Elite alternators inbound! 8 XS Power d3400 6 XS power d680 Second Skin Stinger Tsunami Wiring Sky High A Real Voltmeter not a piece of shit stinger. ROLEXrifleman
It's very application specific, I hope those using them know when they are appropriate and when they are not. But that takes common sense and we all know how that goes! lol Rolex you sicken me. Just let me finish my pie ~ Juice
