Email Server Options- Secure (encrypted end to end)

Recommended Posts

So I was looking at a more secure email option then gmail for a HTTP or web-based mail client. I want something that the small company I am working at can use but it has to have at least AES 256bit encryption or comperable. I would like to stay AWAY from a Outlook or Exchange based email system and would like the ability to have a higher data transfer rate as well.

I was thinking that I could use a service like ProtonMail or something like that but now I am leaning more towards a email server with a encrypted client side application.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Things they have used before?

(Claw Mail and Peagusus Mail looked interesting)

Not aes256 secure. You realize you're gonna pay through the nose right? What's the business case for such strong email security. I can probably help.

You didn't answer my questions

What's the business case?

Are you looking for a hosted service or in house?

Does your email admin have experience working with encryption

There is so much to consider before diving into this. For about 99.9 percent of the planet this is overkill which means you're overpaying.
