eaglescorpio1
There was an install in a vehicle I saw on your builds. It looks like there are 2 armageddons that were in there connected to a few old school fosgate amps. If those were armageddons, I need help with designing an enclosure. I have no manual and have 2 15" kmg-15's. I would love to do vented tuned very low. I have a 2002 sunfire. Want the enclosure to slide through the fold down back seat opening. If I can get a cubic foot amount with vent area figure and vent length. I could design the box to slide in the trunk. I really need help. I don't want to hurt any equipment or waste money building a box i will just have to scrap. Anyone!!!!! please help!!!! Thank you so much!!!! Joe Quote Loud as f*ck, and sounds good doing it. eaglescorpio1
I will take measurements of the largest usable trunk dimensions that I could have if I were to build a box to slide in through the opening when I put the rear seats down. Will post in a little bit. Thank you all!!! Quote Loud as f*ck, and sounds good doing it. Team built from here on out!!!! BIG things to come......... Missing link is the shite!!! eaglescorpio1
ok, took measurements. basically know what I am going to do. The largest box will be 5 cubes sealed. 2.5 for each sub after divider. The box is going to take up the entire trunk. Crazy, but it can be done. Thank you all for responding with any info. I appreciate everyones time!!! Quote Loud as f*ck, and sounds good doing it. Team built from here on out!!!! BIG things to come......... Missing link is the shite!!! eaglescorpio1
Unless anyone knows what I can do to make this enclosure vented and still sound really good. bottom width: 34" top width: 19" height 1: 10" height 2: 16-1/2" depth: 24" These are measurements for the largest enclosure possible to fit through the opening when I fold down the back seat. This will give an inside volume of 5.54 cubes before divider and subwoofer displacement. Again, I have no specs for these subs and don't know what the ideal vented enclosure volume would be or the port area figures, or how to tune the enclosure. If anyone has any info, let me know. Thanks much!!!!! Quote Loud as f*ck, and sounds good doing it. Team built from here on out!!!! BIG things to come......... Missing link is the shite!!! Torres
i wouldnt use the divider. i'd use a common chamber box. i have a calculator. but his dimensions are too hard to decipher. i dno when one heighth starts and the other ends, and same thing with the widths. you're gonna have to map somethin out. unless i'm just too tired to see it Edited April 9, 2008 by ExpoSport
Clif
i wouldnt use the divider. i'd use a common chamber box. thinken the same. Specially if your doing a vented box, you gain some net volume on the inside without it.
