tboorn Posted May 12, 2015 Author Report Share Posted May 12, 2015 i used 1/2" for my wire, i have some welding wire thats 1/0 AWG, some regular 0 gauge power wire, and some 2/0 AWG welding cable battery jumpers. I was able to fit the 1/2" on all of them pretty easily, even with SHCA terminals already attached, you just have to keep sliding over the terminal, not just try to hold the end and slide it all the way down, way too much friction that way. id be able to slide anywhere for 4"-8" on at a time. It expands a lot, 1/2" starts out as 1/4" and can be stretched to 3/4" easily. tboorn Posted May 19, 2015 Author Report Share Posted May 19, 2015 then i found an amazing deal on this stuff and finally got it in the mail, got 4 box's total, around 100sqft if i remember correctly. it got applied to all the plastics just go add another layer of barrier for some strength. didn't get any pictures of this once it was applied though. tboorn Posted May 19, 2015 Author Report Share Posted May 19, 2015 also got some foam matting to apply on the plastics to make extra sure that aint shit rattling haha man it was such a bitch to get it back on. i cannot explain it enough, seriously a huge butch... had to do a bunch of trimming once it was already on. but its on now and it is seriously solid as fuck. I'm pretty satisfied. If you need help of some sort let me know. i stay off 1604 and Babcock, right across the highway from UTSA. ive actually met you before haha, im just usually not in my car when ever i go to local meets and stuff, i usually ride with my buddy Taylor who has the silver mini van with 4 18s on a 9k. But yeah im usually just at my house working on the 24runner if you ever wanna swing by, trade some demos if you get something bumpin again.... or is the 24" still installed?
