these are for the N2's we've got laying around, currently 1 is a 15", 2 are 12"s, and 1 is just a motor and 18"basket, but soon they will all have 15" top assemblies, future demo car here we come lol

i stay off 1604 and Babcock, right across the highway from UTSA. ive actually met you before haha, im just usually not in my car when ever i go to local meets and stuff, i usually ride with my buddy Taylor who has the silver mini van with 4 18s on a 9k. But yeah im usually just at my house working on the 24runner if you ever wanna swing by, trade some demos if you get something bumpin again.... or is the 24" still installed?

Oh, well then lol. Did he have a couple setups before that, I think something with a Tantric recone? If so I haven't seen it with four 18's. Or 9k.

The SHD is sold. Working on something smaller now, won't be done for a couple months though. On my way to Japan right now and then the rebuild starts when I get back.

man thats awesome have fun over there. and yeah he used to have 2 18" BTL triple stack with tantric recones, its changed a few times for sure though haha. and im sure the rebuild will still be done proper and sound good, let me know when you get back. demos or rebuild help, either way im down haha

havent updated this in a while, not a whole lot been happening with the personal build since ive been pretty busy. But i did decide to put my N2's back in since i could wire to 1ohm, and they should be a tad bit more musical in this box. They do sound pretty damn good, but one day i was just looking at them (theyre pretty sexy lol) and i noticed the surrounds are different. so over the weekend i took them out to investigate and see if i could tell why. I bought these second hand of course, so my initail thought is its possible one was reconed and the newer recone came with a larger surround, maybe has the xmax option or flatwound, but i couldnt know for sure until i pulled them out.

so got around to pulling them out, heres the first sub

N2 12 D1 pretty clearly

N2 12 D1..... so kinda at a loss now. neither say anything about high xmax, flatwound coil, etc. so im just going to assume that its just a newer style surround. the spiders are the same and i cant see the coil to check its length, but they are both flatwound from the looks of it. im going to make 15s out of them anyways, kinda stinks though i wish i could get the baskets off wihtout having to cut them up like i can with my TI baskets, perfectly good top ends gonna go to waste.

got to have some fun this weekend....

My buddy who just bought the Juicebox Lithium had his alt go out on thursday, and since there was a small local car show, we decided it would be fun to put my N2's in, and both of my m3b's in my car with the lithium, and stock 80amp alt, and see if we could blow the n2s, and give some solid demos in the mean time.

Let me just say, i knew the juicebox was amazing, but the torture we put it through, this thing is a FUCKING MONSTER, i have it powering 2 m3b's strapped at 1 ohm (.5 a piece) with stock alt, no other extra batts, and it would hold 12s all day at full tilt, saw some 11s, but with this battery thats nothing to worry about. before on 1 m3b at .5 with 2 AGMs i couldnt go past half on the bass knob before id be in the 10s.
