I had a minor brain fart and realized i couldnt just add wood the the width since it was already maxed out for what i can fit, so i had to try and precisoin cut the two end pieces so they would sit inside the box, not just attach to the outside. Got it cut pretty well for not having a table saw, i actually just made a guide jig out of some extra wood and 2"x4"s for my circular saw. it worked like a charm im happy to say. Decided to use 2 6" aero ports, so i had to cut out 2 holes for them to slide in, i cut them a little small so i could sand/file them out until they were snug and could be hammered through to fit then sealed. Took me probably an hour and a half of sanidng/filing to get it prefect, im pleased, but damn it was a bitch. Next i sealed all the seems and let that bitch dry. Garage is way to damn crowded, stupid off and on Texas rain made it a bitch to work. So que quick late night install and bam. hour later and its ready to hear for the first time. Shes alive!!!! Havent got to hear it enough to really judge it, but its definitely better than the prefab, which isnt saying much. But i love me some low end and at least now i can dip into the 20s and get some decent output. I actually did recently, there was a pair for sale, thats on my list of things to get in the future too. love those sleeper 12s. and the ufos look so dirty on the 12" basket. They were on the "Facebook Audio Classifieds" or one of those facebook audio groups. More like im a cheap ass who has no problem spending hours researching every which way to buy a product until i find the best option. So when it came to me wanting to order some TechFlex, the search was on... Now i wasnt really intently looking for a super bargain since TechFlex really isnt that expensive to begin with. The authorized online dealers that are listed on the TechFlex website all sell their 1/2" 25' spools for around $15-$20, really not to pricey. But i just happened to be reading around random forums about which size should fit 0 gauge with ease, and i stumbled on the seller.
