DavidClark
Not really sure. My guess, is I should have it back in 2 weeks. I have to wire the entire truck when I get it back. My goal is to have it playing by the end of July Pioneer 80PRS 4 Scan Speak discovery 4" full rage 2 Ampere Audio 6.5 Comp sets 3 Singer 370 Hairpin's 1 Odyssey g78/34-P1500 6 DieHard Platinum Marine g31 4 XS D3100's DC 175.4 DC 90.4 4 DC 5k's 4 m3 lvl 5 15's Soundrive RCA's Lots of welding lead & SkyHigh Team DC AUDIO
graham0599
I've never heard of sandblasting wood, that's absolutely awesome! I now need a sand blaster.......... and more money. I'm jealous of your baffle, looks beautiful My 350z build- http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/174424-2008-350z-build/page-2?hl=%2B350z+%2Bbuild#entry2605678

graham0599
looks fantastic, will the density of the pine have any negative effects? I remember correctly, he said they were going to frame with 2x12's. Plus there is 5 layers of wood on just that baffle, I think it should be just fine. At least I hope so because I may end up stealing this baffle idea My 350z build- http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/174424-2008-350z-build/page-2?hl=%2B350z+%2Bbuild#entry2605678
will77530
just worries me with pine being a soft wood looks beautiful so i hope it works guess we will find out
tboorn
yeah there's a quad or 5 baffle directly underneath a layer of 2 x 12s. Daniel said he uses pine 2 x 12s because the wood is softer so that the sandblasting can have a better effect and really get into the grain. not to mention the glue and resin thats holding it all structurally sound. it should be pretty f'n solid i'd think Fidelity Built to Last Team Sound Asleep 24Runner Build Log: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/196657-24runner-sleeper-system-lots-of-fi-neo-dd-focal-new-video-w-juicebox-lithium/ 2 x 12" Fi BTL N2 / 2 x 12" Fi BTL N3 2 DD M3b Maxwell 2.7V 3000F Supercapacitors Pioneer DEH-80prs Focal P165 V30 components Rockford Fosgate T-400.
