My plan is to go to Diptex in Houston and have it dipped Black with lime green flake. I am doing the headliner in black suede the week after Christmas. Slowly but surely I will get the Yukon looking better. tboorn Posted December 22, 2015 Report Posted December 22, 2015 oh snap i didnt realize you were leaving the baffle in there. i guess it was secured pretty well in there huh? even taking a sawzaw and cutting out as close to the edge would net you a slightly bigger sealed section. the way it is right now you arent increasing the sealed side so much, your just shrinking the ported section. Well you got me looking and thinking. Space is at a prime because I want to cut as much off the front of the box as I can so I can be comfortable. Every little bit helps at this point so i'm going to pull out the old baffle and put in some 2x4. I have to cover the lag bolt holes so I might have to cut down some 2x6 but it will still be less than whats left of the old baffle. Good catch Tyler!
