chris@xspower
something to keep in mind about any AGM battery is maintenance. Having them sit around in a discharged state (below 12.6V) is damaging on a battery and that is where the resistance buildup in the battery takes place. the most simple thing to do is monitor a stored or hardly used battery every 6 weeks to make sure the voltage is above mentioned. The recovery mode in the PSC chargers is there for batteries that have low voltages and have been setting for quite some time. if proper maintenance is kept up with I wouldn't recommend needing this feature. One a side note we have used the recovery mode on a few occasions here at the warehouse on some older batteries and was able to bring them back to usable working order in about 2 weeks time. (this battery was bad off when first received)
Smoove
This was the answer I was looking for. Badsd on your response, if I keep all th batteries properly charged regularly I should never need maintenance/de-sulfation mode. I thought it was something you just ran every few months.
