Jonesy24
I picked up the tv and decided this was a well needed item due to the weight of the tv the old stand would mostlikely fall apart with a 80lb tv on it:( so i built this: Now i should be moving soon so the stand will not be vaneered till i move due to the fact of possible damage. I know i can repair it as a unfinished product now if the were finished it would proove to be more difficult to fix! The plans are to vanner it in red oak that i get from work, Then stain it or just leave it natural and poly it ....undecided. But the back of the stand will have a 1/2" mdf backing for stability and vaneer! Well lmk what you ppl think Thanks for looking ~Tim~

ptcary
Nice work! I see you have a little furry siamese inspector to check over your work. .....of course to him or her, it's just a big elaborate scratching post anyway!
