Torres Posted April 10, 2008 Report Posted April 10, 2008 damn that truck is hot! i like some of the chrome accents. handles and rim lip would look good chrome. everything else...meh. looks hot blacked out too. those wheels seem so nice...i'm kinda worried how they'd turn out, and how long they'd stay painted if you painted the chrome black.

They're beasts. I'm not a Memphis fan at all, but any (4) 15" setup with a good box will sound good. good luck. keep us all posted. dying to see it blacked-out. On a side not... I think you should black everything out, but leave that chrome lip on the rims man.. That would offset it some and i think it would look hawt, but thats just my opinion.... its your ride you do what you wanna with it. 18's in a wall to come....Its not all about the posts....check the member #...

I've wanted a black suv for years and ended up with a white one instead That's going to look awesome, I love rediculously black trucks like that- can't wait to see it finished. A lot of people say not to go darker but I have 5% right now and really miss my old trucks 5+20 (I just need to go get the front 2 done to match the rear 5+20). Hit harder? mmm...a lot less than what people think I would of...and its a LS (lowest version), because I didn't want Navi, Bose system, or any of those other goodies cause I am putting all my own stuff in...and the only other thing I have to put in is leather seats which my friend does cheap at high quality... personal prefference...I like it blacked out and it looks much better in person hell yes...I said I am taking all of the chrome stuff off. And idk yet about the tint/// besides anything 15% below you have to put down your windows anyways///and I have to do taht now and it doesnt bother me. Here is what it looks like at the moment: and here is what is will end up looking like: Dude, I'm loving the truck and the color. I wish I could have gotten mines in black. I wound up getting birch silver. I love your ideal of removing all the chrome and what not, the only thing I would suggest is that you go with 24's or 26's all black rims with a deeper lip. I'm really digging the Dvinci Havoc XL and the Dub Bigg Hommie 6 rims right now cause of the deep lip both rims have.
