bigsausagepizza
A lot of people use industrial strength velcro. I like making a false floor and securing it to that to make theft very difficult. 2008 Subaru WRX STI K&N Typhoon Intake Invidia Polished Stainless 3" turbo back with cat Cobb Accessport Dyno tune from Kaizen Tuning 320awhp 330ft-lb awtq MTX 421D Sub amp American Bass SQ900 Highs/Mids amp Sundown Audio SD-2 10 D4 JL Audio XR653-CS 3-way Components 3sixty.2 Second Skin Damplifier Pro Custom fiberglass wheel well enclosure Transmission Line quasi-floor enclosure http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/forum/13-member-rides-builds-show-off-your-whip-show-off-your-system/ Bill Fitzmaurice TLAH line-array hifi towers 9 Goldwood 4" mids (each) 12 Goldwood 1/2" tweeters (each) NAD 1020 Preamp MiniDSP 2x4 Balanced processor Thorens TD166mkII Turntable Hafler DH-200 Amplifier http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/192638-line-array-hifi-tower-build/ https://www.facebook.com/HolyMountainGlass

prodigal_son
Has anyone tried these, or anything like this just to snag the box to the carpet?http://www.parts-express.com/parts-express-speaker-cabinet-1-2-super-toe-spike-set-4-pcs--240-
gdaigle
Another option would be to just bolt that bitch down. For my Yukon, I pulled the spare tire down then got underneath the truck and drilled some holes through the floor and bottom of the box then bolted it in. Main reason I did it this way was to make it a real pita to steal and also didn't want to get killed by my box if I get into a nasty head on collision lol. Probably don't need to do all this though if your only concern is keeping the box from moving around. I'd probably just go with the industrial strength Velcro. I've done that with previous vehicles I've owned and it worked well. Broke_Audio_Addict
I secure mine just with l brackets to keep it in place. As far as security go's if they want it bad enough they will get it no matter what and usually what they can't get they destroy. The best security is to make sure your stuff is fully insured on your policy. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.
