I don't know the whole setup but all I remember is that the subs were Crunch and I remember another friend of mine had some Volcano subs and a Phoenix Gold amp. I ended up getting that amp and using it on a set of Soundstream SPL 12s in a '93 Thunderbird. Actually what really hooked me on bass was my home setup when I was little. I started with my dad's AAL 12s and when those were shot (dry rot) He went out and got A set of Cerwin Vega VS-120 speakers.
