reedal Posted July 16, 2015 Report Posted July 16, 2015 Like your pulleys are offset? Or your grooves don't match? d-nice88 Posted July 16, 2015 Author Report Posted July 16, 2015 the belt moves out of alignment when i start the car. i can put the smaller belt on and get it lined up straight with the other pulleys but when i start my car the belt moves a little to the left out of alignment. It doesnt come off or anything but it looks like it could
Broke_Audio_Addict Posted July 16, 2015 Report Posted July 16, 2015 Post some pics or possibly a vid. If the belt is shifting like that one of your pulleys is the culprit. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.
reedal Posted July 16, 2015 Report Posted July 16, 2015 Double check to make sure it's on every pulley, all grooves lined up. This didn't happen until you installed the HO? d-nice88 Posted July 16, 2015 Author Report Posted July 16, 2015 yea ill get some pics up tomorrow i think it might be on the tensioner pully cuz its the only one its not lined up right on
prodigal_son Posted July 16, 2015 Report Posted July 16, 2015 When a belt walks like that and it's not a pulley alignment problem, it's usually a tensioner issue.
