Moreno93 Posted July 19, 2015 Report Posted July 19, 2015 I know there are alot of people who have silverado's with systems in them. I dont have any battery's inside the cab & im looking for where the best ground is inside the cab. Any suggestions?
ToNasty Posted July 19, 2015 Report Posted July 19, 2015 I'm drilling a whole through the floor. And grounding too the frame. But what year silverado do you have becsuse you might have the GVBM sensor ***Super Sellers List***http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/25829-super-sellers-buyers
Moreno93 Posted July 19, 2015 Author Report Posted July 19, 2015 It was previously grounded to the body & sanded off, but wondering if there is anything better without cutting a big hole for 1/0
ToNasty Posted July 19, 2015 Report Posted July 19, 2015 You're good. You can ground easier then. Get a grommet and go to the frame. I'm not a fan of grounding to the body ***Super Sellers List***http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/25829-super-sellers-buyers
Moreno93 Posted July 19, 2015 Author Report Posted July 19, 2015 The only thing i can think of when grounding outside of th body is the water that my truck occasionally goes into definetely frame deep at times
reedal Posted July 20, 2015 Report Posted July 20, 2015 put dielectric grease between the lug and the frame, then put liquid electrical tape over the lug and a little on the surrounding area of the frame.
