may03LT
With the idea of putting the woofer between two pieces of wood, would it be somewhat like a reverse flush mount? as in you would you screw the sub into the box and then mount another piece of wood over the whole front with a slight recess so that the lip of the sub would be covered by the new second "baffle"? I have a paint picture but i can't figure out how to post it. interesting idea

Boon
If you want to be really difficult then have the subs inside a 4th order bandpass that's bolted to the car. Just make the front baffle removable if you want to remove 45 screws with various security heads and occasional reverse threads They can't get the sub out, they can't get the box out and they can't even stab it with a screwdriver! So instead they just torch your car and leave 10.x volts fo' life!
Beanz
Hey if not make use all the screws in your sub a different other screw so that way they wont know what the hell to use use one philips one flathead and just use your inagination. That's why they don't deliver. Yer ass better go sit along the side of the road and wait. You can't expect them to travel up some dirt road in a hick / back woods town. Thats how horror movies start I explain things very simply and use analogies in terms of Pickles, and grape drink, pool noodles and jackhammers...if you can't put 2 and 2 together there man, There simply is not much more I can do.
