I know ID used to be a really great company, but I think they dropped their quality down. I can't say for sure. I would personally choose that sundown over the ID any day.

I think I am settled on the Sundown.

My friend has the Skar 1200.1 on a 1 ohm load with completely stock electrical in a 2007 frontier and even with AC on, radio full blast his lights never flicker. So I'm looking at that too...

Sundown > Skar

Hahaha xD

Ok, ok Sundown it is... :good:

Would their (CT's) mini M750 amp not be a consideration?

Not sure of the price but can't image it being over your budget.

At 14.4v i'd guess you'd be right in the rms power range.

Oh and quite a bit cheaper than the sundown too! And probably in stock!

Yeah but on stock electrical I wouldn't really stay at 14.4v would I? I'd feel a little more confident getting a 1000 rms amp and have it drop a little from voltage just to know for sure I'm at least getting 1k watts most of the time :D

I wish there was a dyno test for it.

I know it's a good brand because I've watched the SEMA videos with a couple trucks that had their huge amps in the back, but is it efficient? I don't need a power hungry amp in my life right now.... lol

You'll be fine.with the money saved on this amp you could save few more dollars and add a secondary xs power 925 battery.I have this amp pushing a ascendant Havoc 15.it does just fine.
