LoudBimmer
I'm using raptor LOCA45H for a loc. Since it doesn't have a remote wire, what else can I use? Everything is in the trunk, but stock amp I believe is in the HU block up front.
mothra
use an amp like Kicker that has signal sense turn on and you won't need to find a remote turn on. depending on vehicle will depend on how difficult it is to find a remote turn on. if nothing changes, nothing changes You don't know what you don't know, till you don't know

Just so we're clear, Kicker amps aren't really signal sense in the sense many other amplifier are. They're actually a DC offset sense. You can use any ignition source in the car. Your cig sockets are ignition powered for example.
08tahoe
You have to go into your fuse box and tap into either the ignition fuse or a fuse that gets power when you turn your ignition switch on. So get a dmm and check for power, you'll have to turn the ignition switch on and off to see if you get power with the switch on and then to see if the power stops with the switch off. You can just wrap your remote wire around one of the little fuse legs (the side that's fused) and push the fuse back in or you can get something like what's in the link and you can have your own fuse for your remote wire and the original fuse for the spot you tapped into. http://www.amazon.com/Pico-0956PT-Blade-Add-A-Circuit-Holder/dp/B001QRSBW0
LoudBimmer
found a wire in the trunk. So problem solved. Now just gotta find out why there's static noise coming through. Even with RCA loc grounded.
Broke_Audio_Addict
Because loc's suck. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.
