Lsufan51 Posted August 2, 2015 Report Posted August 2, 2015 I just did the big 3 in my 08 impala and ever since I'll get a battery saver active warning on the dash and the a/c will cut off. Has anyone else had this problem and how do I fix it?
SPL.Pantie.Soak Posted August 2, 2015 Report Posted August 2, 2015 Did you remove the factory wiring when doing the big three or did you keep them both? Kenwood KVT-614 (4) Marathon 155 AH batts 2/0 OFC SHCA Mechman 370 (2) Audioque 3500.1 (2) AA Mayhem 15s
Lsufan51 Posted August 2, 2015 Author Report Posted August 2, 2015 I kept the stock wiring. Just add 0 gauge to it.
MrSkippyJ Posted August 2, 2015 Report Posted August 2, 2015 Check for bad connections, if you are just adding wiring it should hurt anything. F150: Stock 2019 Harley Road Glide: Amp: TM400Xad - 4 channel 400 watt Processor: DSR1 Fairing (Front) 6.5s -MMats PA601cx Lid (Rear) 6x9s - TMS69
Ahmed Johnson Posted August 2, 2015 Report Posted August 2, 2015 Try removing those added grounds. At least the alt to battery one.
Lsufan51 Posted August 2, 2015 Author Report Posted August 2, 2015 There is a battery current sensor on the stock power wire. I'm gonna move it to the new power and see if that helps.
reedal Posted August 2, 2015 Report Posted August 2, 2015 Try and put both power wires through the current sensor if you can SMD Tool Map https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/193176-smd-tool-map-new-november-2014/ Build log https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/197217-reeds-03-tahoe-hat-sqaq-singer-xs-shca-cockbox-80prs/?page=32
Lsufan51 Posted August 2, 2015 Author Report Posted August 2, 2015 It's too small. I can't get them all through it.
reedal Posted August 2, 2015 Report Posted August 2, 2015 If you have the one from front to back batteries in there, replace it with the alt to batt wire. If not, then I have nothing further. Lsufan51 Posted August 2, 2015 Author Report Posted August 2, 2015 I don't have any batteries in the back. Just a yellow top up front. I'm going to replace the sensor and cut off the connection on the 0 gauge and see if I can put it in like that.
