if i could find where i put the air velocity formula id do it myself... but seeing as hes only going to see around 800 on average or so with impedance rise 15sq inches should be plenty.. ... if he goes any larger area just 16 sq is going to be 34 " long 18 is 38" long 20 is 43" at 34hz that is going to be alot of bends in his box on top of that if he uses 20 sq" with bends its going to be a big box .. Then again with the space he gave it won't make much difference i guess... i would play with torrents also but it doesn't want to open on my computer for some odd reason...

according to win 25 sq is 30 m/s at max power and at 30 hz gets lower on both sides which is 4 under the recommended but its a 50 something inch port i still would try 15 to 16 sq inches its not like building a one cube box is expensive with 15 sq its higher then the 34 m/s from 23 to 40hz which is a nice range unfortunately 20sq its 23-34hz

its funny how i got no port noise doing 14 sq per 8 lvl3 12

and o.p see if there is any posts about box size and port for the lvl4 10 on this forum ask lboxx what he used on his xl10s

Here is something simple to build, power: to 1500W, amp subsonic filter to 28Hz, minimum port clearance 1 7/8", figure is just an assembly guide:

I am running a Cresendo S1500 with a Kinetik KHC2000 battery in the back. So why wouldn't I see any max RMS?

didnt say you wouldn't see it but you are not going to see it all the time due to impedance changes

Alright. I still want to be able to put luggage and stuff in the trunk without having to remove the box. will this work out you think? He is a general idea of what was in the trunk for spacing. it was an FI SP4 15 in a 4 cube box

i thought it was around 25 sq in.. lol

and joeX has it right about on the money at nearly 24 sq in.. joeX's design will work perfect for what he needs..

as for the port noise on in ur box.. a level 3 has less Xmax and power handeling capabilities so you are able to get away with less port area per woofer..
