sundownaudio
Would this be considered as a good ground ? the red wire is that of my battery negative and the black one is from my amps, i sanded it down to the bare metal, no star washer, that metal part runs across the car at the bottom behind the rear seats, and the wire is 1/0 max length 1.5'
jbeez
Hard to see in this photo, is the paint scraped down bare? Did you use a star washer, what does that metal connect to? How long are those runs? What awg is that wire?

jbeez
I'll have to go with probably Do you have a dmm? Can you load the system and measure the voltage drop across the terminal connector at the bottom of your picture (ground distro block?) and the battery connection at the battery post? even without loading you could gather some data on the connection with resistance measurements and voltage across the leads
Guest
no that particular spot of metal is way too thin

Broke_Audio_Addict
Use a dmm and measure the resistance between that point and the front battery. My guess is it's high which is no good. If however the resistance is real low you are fine. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.
