ron Posted August 30, 2015 Report Posted August 30, 2015 I have a dc90.4 for mids and highs What should i use 4 ohm speakers or 8ohm speakers?where can i find information on this?
Broke_Audio_Addict Posted August 30, 2015 Report Posted August 30, 2015 Kind of a vague question. What kind of speaker and how many per channel? That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.
ron Posted September 1, 2015 Author Report Posted September 1, 2015 One 4 ohm 6.5 mid and one 4 ohm tweeter per channel or One 8 ohm 6.5 mid and one 8 ohm tweeter per channel I'm. Thinking of getting cresendo pwx 6.5 and ft-1 tweeters Which ohm would work best 4 or 8 ohm on a dc 90.4?
MrSkippyJ Posted September 1, 2015 Report Posted September 1, 2015 Go with which ever lets you match the RMS ratings of your speakers with the RMS output of the amp. Broke_Audio_Addict Posted September 1, 2015 Report Posted September 1, 2015 So want one 6.5 and one tweet per channel or the tweets and miss on their own separate channel? That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.
Broke_Audio_Addict Posted September 1, 2015 Report Posted September 1, 2015 double post. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.
ron Posted September 1, 2015 Author Report Posted September 1, 2015 Mids on there own channel Tweeters on there own channel
Broke_Audio_Addict Posted September 1, 2015 Report Posted September 1, 2015 If only going with one per channel I'd go with the 4 ohm versions. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.
Leo1103 Posted September 1, 2015 Report Posted September 1, 2015 It's an active capable amp, if you use a crossover to run a mid and tweet on each channel your losing the best part of the amp. 2002 Honda CR-VAlpine 9887My BuildRebuilding...
