can you hook up Amp & sub to stock stereo unit?

Recommended Posts

well i have not updated my car on here, but i got rid of the malibu and bought a brand new 2015 chrysler 200 and it has a thing called Uconnect that lets me control every thing from my steering will to the deck, it reads off text messages to me and i can tell it who to call all hands free and etc, i dig it.. But i got a brand new SQ 10'' sub and SQ1200 amp SQ wiring kit all new in the box...

and just wanted to know is there any way to hook this up?

You could either use a line out converter(would not be my choice)

Or a sound processor.

That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.

When I was contemplating using My 2015 Chrysler 200C for a build if i was on a budget I would have probably chosen an audiocontrol EQS

http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_6358_AudioControl-EQS-Gray.html and if it was just get the best it would have been between the Helix dsp, or the Alpine PXA-800, and RUX-C800 controller. The Audio Control EQS is between $250-400, the Helix about $700 iirc, and the Alpine with the controller is about $1000. There are other choices I am sure, but those were the ones I considered the best options.

its not to power them, its used to tap into the factory system to provide a signal to your amp
