onesantaever Posted September 15, 2015 Report Posted September 15, 2015 ok so my sister has an 2008 mustang its the stock radio but it stopped ejecting the cd's out of it. now i have a few questions is it worth trying to fix the stock radio? or is there a good but not going to break the bank replacement? will a double din fit without a dash kit? any help is appreciated
mothra Posted September 16, 2015 Report Posted September 16, 2015 what's "break the bank? what trim is her car? it needs a dash kit and interface harness but both are relatively cheap compared to GM interface harnesses. if nothing changes, nothing changes You don't know what you don't know, till you don't know
Guest Posted September 16, 2015 Report Posted September 16, 2015 A nice headunit is better than any radio Ford put in their cars that year. Youre going to need a dash kit if you change radios. Tell her this is a sign that cds are outdated and 2 switch 2 aux or usb input
Broke_Audio_Addict Posted September 16, 2015 Report Posted September 16, 2015 What's the budget for a new radio? There are a few good ones that are budget friendly but knowing what you're working with will help pick one. onesantaever Posted September 16, 2015 Author Report Posted September 16, 2015 she is thinking about getting a ipad because her ipod is broke and budget would be around 100 to 150
boom50cal Posted September 16, 2015 Report Posted September 16, 2015 Would not go double din. Would pick up a little cheaper single din with bluetooth and aux and call it a day. Installation in that car is pretty quick and easy. I did one in about 40 minutes iirc. On 1/4/2013 at 9:31 PM, HatersGonnaHate said: Wow. 184 posts and I think you're a fucking asshole.
