Which led me to doing all this work new amp, wires ect, thinking it would solve the problem. But the real problem was me. I was an idiot. I had the rcas in backwards coming from the hu. I should change my signature to "don't let me touch your car... i cant read an analog clock

mcfalcon Posted September 20, 2015 Report Posted September 20, 2015 Hmmm. Maybe you had bad rca connection. I don't think rca can be backwards. We're the rca reading different? Maybe a bad pair? Still learning but have started gathering.

firebirdude Posted September 21, 2015 Report Posted September 21, 2015 Simply swapping red and white (left and right) will not cause a no output issue. Sounds like the RCAs were plugged into front or rear preouts with a HPF set.
