  1. I will in about a month or two when all the hype wears off and you can stroll into Wal*Mart and pick one up.
  2. DD-1 picked up my pc sound card just fine (its good at full volume). So I just checked my phone on a track 2, and no signal was registered. Using a Galaxy s6 with known good source tracks.
  3. The DC amps run full potential power at 1 ohm so see the diagrams and decide what you want to do.
  4. Just grab a fuse piggyback or fuse tap and tap it in to something with constant power, it doesn't draw hardly any power at all so you are likely not going to harm anything doing this.

  6. To surface mount to a dash pop off the cover and use the hols in the back plate to screw it down, if you don't want holes in your dash I would try some 3M VHB double sided tape the heavier rated the better.
  7. I was thinking something similar. Will there be a weather-proof/resistant model at any time do you think, Steve? These can get wet without any problem. Not sure what "weather proof" is going to do for you to be honest. I would have no problem using these in a boat so i think your car will be fine. Um...why would you want a volt meter under your hood? And just for arguments sake if you carefully apply a good coat of conformal coating or liquid electrical tape on the meter and seal it all in good it will be water proof. Hell...buy one have it shipped to me and I'll do it for you. I've been doing it for years with $300 rc car speed controllers with a 0 fail rate. Edit, I think I quoted the wrong person, this is for Gunnem
  8. Welcome to another expensive AF Hobby! For thoes Batteries you have you can safely charge them at 10.4A (2c charge rate) but you would need a beefy charger like mine And a power supply capable of running it but I'm sure you can just toss it on the test bench bank and be golden. Oh, and be careful...they multiply, this shelf started out with only one and now has 9
  9. The very first was in a buddies dads homemade home sub, a pair of Dayton 15's. My first real taste in a vehicle was when a truck pulled up behind me and my mom in her old olds 98 and he was vibrating her mirrors and pretty much blowing us up, later I went to my friends house and saw the same truck in the driveway, met the guy (his dad's friend) and just had to see what made that sexy noise, 3 JL W6 12's on a Kicker zr1000 with the subwoofer module.
  10. Oh man, in the house it was an old Realistic P.A. amplifier that my friend sold me with a 1/8 stereo to a 1/4 mono so I could send it signal from my boombox. 12V it was the 90's Jensen amp with the full grey plastic housing and the light up blue outline, something like 150x2 MAX on a pair of found in the dumpster pyramid phase iii tenna 10's. damn it was awful but at the time I thought it was awesome.
  11. Maybe I'm missing something, but how do you hook it up to signal/power?
  12. Thats what we are here for. Sonic Electronix... Saving you bucks since 2000! well played sonic, well played...your included coupon with my rca cables prompted me to grab a pair of NVX battery terminals i had been eyeballing.
