Hello, I'm just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for any in dash navigation units with a $500 budget. From what I'm seeing I may have to just stick with a separate GPS setup like a peasant.

With that budget stick to a separate GPS or find a used one.

From my experience I've always found that the low end nav units suck.

You could always save up more money and buy nicer one in which case I'd look at the top level kenwoods.

That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.

I have installed A few of this unit. They are around the 500$ Mark if you look hard. And they work well. kenwoodhttp://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=311402712705&alt=web
