Putting that Second Skin from Steve to use. The Saturn *video*

Last month Steve was gracious enough to send me a Second Skin trunk pack. Well the time has come for me to finally put it to use. Since I never put any deadener on the outside panels of my car, that is where this SS is going. Now some of you may be jealous for how easy it is to get to my outside panels so this is a warning haha. My outside panels are held onto my car by 6-8 bolts and then it just pops off. No need to remove my door panel or take off any deadener that is already on my car. On with the pics.

See that easy.

Now this being Wilmington it loves to rain. As soon as I got the panel off it starts to rain. Good thing is it should only last a few minutes.

Well it died down a bit and went back out. I was able to get one door done and whenever it stops raining again I will be doing the front passenger side then making a video of the difference the SS makes.

It will be like that. Just that one sheet is all it needs to cut out all of the rattle in the door.

The rain let up so I went back out and was able to get the entire car done. Rolling out the goodness.

Some of you may remember when someone tried to break into my car during the summer. Well they broke off part of the outside panel that holds it onto the door.

Here is a little video I took before I deadened the driver's side of the car. Just one sheet did the trick.

It will be like that. Just that one sheet is all it needs to cut out all of the rattle in the door.

How much does a sheet that size cost? If that's all it takes to kill door rattles, I need some ASAP! Comes with the GM territory I guess. ;)
