dthomas Posted October 10, 2015 Report Share Posted October 10, 2015 The sub is a dual 2ohm so you can wire it for either 1ohm or 4ohm. That amp looks to be only 2ohm stable so you would need to wire at 4ohm to be safe and get half power. You could wire at 1ohm but you would be stressing the amp. Wasteland_Audio Posted October 10, 2015 Report Share Posted October 10, 2015 I wouldn't run it, you have a dual 2 ohm sub that can be run at 1 or 4 ohms, the amp only pushes 375 watts at 4 ohms and isn't 1 ohm stable. I would either find an amp that puts out 500 watts at 4 ohms or find a 1 ohm stable amp. I think that would make you and that nice sub a lot happier. Those subs are underrated anyway, 1K would be just fine. Thank you for the recommendation, but I'm on a budget and I only chose the Kicker amp because there's one on sale on Amazon for $100.
