tim...

...i almost forgot

he showed me this roll of woven fiberglass he had...probably a good 40 yards and he said something along the lines of "i bet time aint got this much of woven laying around...he would probably cum on himself if he did"...lol :)

I doubt that.

Timmay is "too good" for the woven stuff...and he actually DOES (or DID) have a roll of woven mat like that layin around....

He mentioned it w/ pics and said since he NEVER uses anything but pulled chop mat he was wondering if anyone wanted to buy it/take it off his hands...I still gotta check if he's still got it.

The doors are lookin SIICK man.

I have one Q:

In those first Glassed up shots, are you using pulled apart chop mat? or you have a chopper/shooter? or is it straight up chop mat just layed VERY well?

Just curious cuz it looks a lot like Tims work w/ the pulled apart stuff, which is now MY fav method of choice to get irregular forms with high strength.

I cant imagin trying to get the standard flat mat to lay down nice over all them curves I would have to make a huge tub of pulled apart mat and just layer it up.

Again it looks great and to amatt85 I'm hella jealous you actually have a mentor/professional fab guy to go help out or shoot the shit with.

You lucky mofo

thanks for the props ..........the matt in the door pics is pulled apart much the same as the way Tim does his exept on this one its straight 2oz matt not split into 1 ounce pieces and then i rolled it all out nice and flat. as for the woven, a friend of mine bought a boat yard that went out of bizz and i got it as part of a deal with about 50 yards of chop matt but i very rarely use it. and as for the pic of the woven that was a joke for Tim I am sure he has about a 1,000 yards of matt . and i do have a chopper gun but dont use it much, mainly on molds .the doors have about 4or5 layers of 2 ounch
