bcbrassard
I have a RF T400-4 running T3 6.5 mids in front door in a 2012 Malibu off front ch @ 75 rms, Rear ch to T1692 in rear deck. I have a chance to swap out to a P500-4 that i have. Its about 105 watts per ch so i would gain 30 watts per speaker. Which would you run and why? System sound good, Putting in a Kenwood HU tomorrow so i will be working on the system and would be a good time. Also planning a A-Pillar hertz 4" comps set in the spring. I have a P200-2 but its only 80 watts per ch. I was thinking a PBR300-2 @ 110 watts per ch. Which would make the system better? Just fishing for Opinions? bcbrassard
This is how it is now off the stock HU. LC7 will be remove and thats where the P200-2 could go. And heres a pic of the amps.
hunter1206
i myself like to over power just for the reason of if i ever get better stuff later on as in power wise if you have the power you can always tune down but if you dont have alot you can never go up
bcbrassard
True, It is on stock electrical right now. Spring i will upgrade battery to a XS and maybe add a small one in the back. Speakers wont get upgraded and are under powered now. T3 can take 150 rms, T1692 125 rms i believe. So besides a little more draw in the electrical i dont know that i will hear a difference.
