Fluke 87 III A/C 110v reading

I get this reading when measuring the the white and black wire the light in the ceiling is connected too. I don't know how to interpret this, can someone help who is smarter than me??

Does said light in your ceiling even turn on?

Was the switch on at the time you took the reading?

I'm hesitant to suggest any course of action as I'm not sure what laws there are governing this sort of thing.. but you could always pop the switch out of the wall and check there too

I'll check that tomorrow. It's an old house and I don't see any ground wires. I changed out the switch so I can easily pull it out and check the wiring.

Beauty of a house, you could darn near stick the negative probe in the floor and that would work as your negative to get a reading. Just gotta get creative
