Soundstream and Hifonics both make monoblocks that would fit the bill. There are better but you need more cash. I would tell you to get the TA1.2000D But they are out of stock... And the TA1.3000 might be a little more than you need.

I do not recommend the TA1.2k

If you do go with it, buy it somewhere that offers repairs with the warranty.

So 1k from one amp or 1.6k from two amps? That's a decent power increase but for me personally I wouldn't want the hassle of 2 amps u less they are linkable somehow.

What about the soundstream Rubicon 2500d? It's rated 1700wrms @ 2ohms, and its just about in my price range. Thoughts or anyone have experience with the rubicons?
