i have been trying for about a year now to get help from someone. nobody has been able to do so. I have a 2003 chevy blazer and I want to build a box for 4 sundown ev2d4-15s. im running them in 2 ohms off an audiopipe apcl3000.1d. I want measurements to build a square flatbox ported to 32-35hz. my width is 38.1 inches in my truck an 37.3 inches from back to seat. why cant I build a box to sit in back and still have backseats? everyone tells me this is impossible.

Not gonna happen.

i would love to wall it off. my problem is that i simply don't know how to do this. i was told to get two ported boxes that are 15 3/4 high and bolt them together in the truck. couldn't i build a flat box and then flip it up making a wall?

the setup i have now could probably make it work with 3 batts and two amps. im missing it by about 1 inch. im surprised that this isn't possible. ive saw soo many people with trucks like mine with 4 15s. it just seems like its possible..i see sealed boxes all day that would fit with tons of extra space in back. the second i say ported every tells me no.

Ported can take up double the amount of space of a sealed enclosure for the same sub or more.

C-pillar wall is about your only option and even then I still think you'd only have the space for four 12's
