Download a box tune calculator app and start playing with measurements. If your box isn't big enough you will have to deal with way high tuning or mad port noise.

Bolting 2 prefab boxes together is faster than building a wall. Plus, the shop can charge you for labor to bolt those boxes together. This, in turn, allows the shop to get you out fast so they can move along to the next vict... I mean um, customer. I dont do business with shops. Most of them are staffed with unskilled college kids who think they know everything and can hit 200db with a single 10..... Owner of BigAss Ports

Lol, you'll need 3 to break 200dB, because most woofers only do 85dB, everyone knows that.. Thinking is the root of all problems... You ALWAYS get what you pay for.
