Joseph Chambers Posted January 22, 2016 Report Posted January 22, 2016 So, I really dont like how my doors turned out and after seeing this: I decided I want to copy. So I've been looking at buying two pairs of http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_71950_NVX-VSP4.html and move my door and a piller tweeters like that. So now I'm like if I'm going to do that I might as well add another soundqubed 10, swap out my 2200.2 for a 4500.. and redo my doors. :/ Do you think the SQ Q1-4500D.1 would be too much for x2 HDC3.110s that I have now or would it be better to add a third one to be on the safe side? reedal Posted January 22, 2016 Report Posted January 22, 2016 Those subs can take 2k a piece according to AMI customs. AMI customs recommendation: 1.25 cubic feet net with 16 square inches of port per cubic foot (per sub) tuned between 36-41hz. I'd recommend the 36hz tuning freq for better low end response. Those NVX obviously aren't in the same league as those Hertz that Tony used in that Denali but the concept should work for you. I wish Tony would make a DSP... Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
RainStryke Posted January 22, 2016 Report Posted January 22, 2016 Since you will be running .5OHM to run those two subs, i'd suggest something like this instead: http://www.droppinhzcaraudio.com/sound-magus-vs3500-1-high-performance-class-d-5-ohm-stable-mono-bass-amplifiers/
