They are both a "load" so to speak, but DC resistance is a static load (or resistive load). AC Impedance exists only in AC circuits and changes with frequency and only exists with power applied (or inductive load). They are COMPLETELY different entities. There is no conversion factor or formula to translate from DC resistance to AC impedance. Especially if there is an Eq or bass boost feature turned up on the bottom end. Used to see this a lot with Epicenters on prefab boxes. Static drops are my bag. Amp might be on its way out but not sure.
