I only cut frequencies on my EQ anyways whenever I try to tinker with it, but most times I leave set at flat since I don't seem to be able to find a good medium for all genres of music I listen to. noobslayer77 Posted February 9, 2016 Report Posted February 9, 2016 seriously i was just curious about eq's on my HU, was gonna start messing with them a bit, have all my amps set with dd1 to -5 and this thread totally answered a a bunch of questions. Now i know if i raise above flat on my HU i may introduce distortion, so i should only go negative to balance response. Unless i wanna go full retard and possibly break shit.
