Im currently running a saz 2500d. But wondered if i traded for the SCV 3k, would it be more efficient then the SAZ on a 12v system? I've only got 2 khc 2k batteries and a singer 240A alternator. And for some reason the voltage is stiff @ 13.5v with car on. Dips down to 13.2 on long notes. Vehicle is 2000 honda accord. Would the SCV be better than the saz 2500d?

SCV is rated at 12v.. You would be getting more power at your voltage.

Thats cool. Im way too old to be upset by shit like that. Your name is winston. Your own parents hated you even before you were born.

My penis is bigger than your penis

I'm far from loud and my roof/headliner flaps around like Adam's ass on a windy day. I think it depends more on the structure of the vehicle.

dont expect a big audible difference if you upgrade. I wouldnt upgrade unless you get a stupid deal.

^^^^^^^^ what he said... ... and some cars have whats called the pcm controller to control the voltage... if you want it to charger high you have to bypass it...

your going to have to do some research on this

Thanks for the info, reason for this is I can trade the saz2.5k for the scv3k + 75 bucks. I just wanted to know if it was the saz amp causing my 13v float. So the saz is taxing my electrical more then the scv amp. As for the bypass, im not very knowledgable in that department, but would it make significant difference to go thru with the bypass for an extra .5 - .9 extra volts?

i think you should work on your electrical instead.. if you cant maintain voltage with the saz2500 you wont maintain the voltage with a scv3000

the trade will also depend on if the other amp works.. i dont think someone would trade a scv3000 for a saz2500 unless the money is good

To miguel, my cousin is who im tradin the amp to. It works flawlessly and he has had it for about 2 months. He wants to trade cuz he has a saz 2.5k and wants to strap em. My electrical has never gotten under 13volts while cars on and im doing long demos. I've got a normal lead battery under the hood with 2 kinetik 2ks in trunk, a singer 240 amp alternator, single run of SHCA 0/1 from front battery to rear and all over including the big 3, which will be the big 4 soon. Ive read around about cars like mines limiting charging voltage to about 13.5-13.6 volts. So I'd have to do the relay bypass to increase the charging capabilities. As for workin on electrical the only thing I can think of doing other then the bypass is direct runs from alternator to batteries in the back. Should I also do ground runs from front battery to the back as well?
