Just more modern and parts are more commonly available? After having to have 6 ballast and 2 bulbs within a year warrantied out ( 4 Different vehicles) I just gave up on them. The only good thing about them is a lifetime warranty. 08 Ford F150

300824 Posted April 6, 2016 Report Posted April 6, 2016 ive used ddm hids for 5ish years and zero issue... also run morimoto and diode dynamics hids, no issue with those either!! just got a ultra hid kit from ddm and it looks to be better quality than there reg hid kit
