akuma4u Posted February 21, 2016 Report Posted February 21, 2016 Hey i need help choosing between these 2 budget 4 channel amps: the ppi 900.4 and nvx jad 800.4 amp both do around the same numbers at 14.4 V, but the NVX amp was dynoed but they only dynoed it using 2 channels out of the 4 and it gave a much higher number than it would if they tested it using all 4 channels.. Not sure if the PPI was rated using 2 channels or 4.. but im pretty sure they dynoed it using all 4 channels as the numbers seem more accurate. having said that and not knowing exactly what the NVX amp does with all 4 channels @ 4ohms.. which amp do you guys recommend? I have heard they are all the same inside/use the same boards etc.. not sure if its true or not.. the PPI is 20 bucks cheaper as well.. so , anyone that has ever used these amps have any feedback or recommendation please let me know. akuma4u Posted February 22, 2016 Author Report Posted February 22, 2016 ok i went ahead with the NVX JAD.. my research shows that they are basically the same amp.. there are several companies that have all cloned this amp.. not sure who the originator was , i think it was PPI.
