Esgedi Posted March 15, 2016 Report Share Posted March 15, 2016 A voice coil's power rating is based on the amount of heat that it can dissipate. Power is heat. Your sub is going to heat up. Heat =/= distoriton or clipping. Obviously your coil is going to heat up after you do full tilt runs...
