Ron36
It shitty sound from a shallow mount sub , if I put my same power to a real sub it would pound 2022 Ford Maverick on 22’s Skar SK1500.1 on 4 Skar VD-8’s Mids Sundown Super tweeters, Skar TX 6.5 components on Skar SKM400.4 LC2 for audio control , XS Power D680 XS Series Extra Battery
3vil
So basically you are talking out your ass and have no quantifiable measure for your claim? Edit: I've heard some builds where I was like "damn those are shallows making all that noise?" in extra cab trucks.
MotorCityFats13
I cant see your claim that a shallow sub is not a real sub.... yes I understand there is only so much you can do when designing a shallow sub but alot of design work went into making the motor and coil run shallow and this does not always mean less excursion.... many shallow subs have more throw than conventional designed subs.... might be different if you were running some off the shelf kicker, fosgate, kenwood or pioneer shallows
