Now, first, im sure this is 100% my fault but its weird nonetheless.

I was setting my sub gains and the only thing different than last time is i have an OM-1 hooked up. But, i had the speaker Negative from the sub amp hooked up to the OM-1 input by accident (instead of Positive). When i hooked up the dd-1 leads, it fed back through my mids and highs. Also, now my headunit buzzes and has a ton of engine noise. So RIP 80prs.

Dumb and costly mistake, but not sure why it did it. Some weird ground loop i guess?

edit: i mean, i had speaker ground hooked to the om-1 input instead of positive.

edit 2: modified terminoligy for clarification

No clue why it happened but man that sucks.

I'm gonna pull my 80 prs which has some odd issues but nothing as bad as that, I'll gladly send it your way if you want it, free of charge.

That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.

It's making a slight pop when ejecting a cd or powering it off completely and has very very quiet background static noise playing through all speakers,

It's so quiet that I didn't even notice it till I was sitting in the car with the car not running and the radio turned all the way down.

When I was tuning my 360 a couple weeks ago, I only had the rca cables plugged into the the 360 coming from the deck.

No rca cables plugged into the outputs of the 360 so no amps where getting any type of signal.

Oddly enough I could still hear music through the speakers even though the rca's where unplugged.

Couldnt figure that one out at all.
